Asking for Forgiveness

I am writing this note on the Shabbat before Yom Kippur to ask for mechilah, forgiveness, both personally and on behalf of our institution. Please forgive me and Beit Rabban for anything we have done that hurt you, this year or over the years, intentionally or unintentionally.

A community like ours, with our children at its center, is an inherently complicated and emotional one. We inevitably and regularly make mistakes, some more consequential than others, that impact the people who are most precious to us. Please know that we love your children and are profoundly grateful to be in their lives and part of their ongoing growth.

We are ever committed to doing better by you this year than in past years.

Wishing all a Gmar Chatimah Tovah,

Stephanie
