lev polinsky
Rebecca Karpay and Lev Polinsky live on the Upper West Side with their two sons, Jeremy (9th grade, and a proud 2023 Beit Rabban graduate) and Robert (Ilanot). They moved to New York a few years after meeting at a Shabbat dinner in Philadelphia, where Rebecca was working on her PhD in Economics. Rebecca, a lifelong East-Coaster, works in Quantitative Finance; while Lev, who moved to Southern California when he immigrated from the USSR, works in Finance and M&A for a large publishing company. Lev has been a member of the Beit Rabban board for 8 years, and has served as chair since 2020.

Danielle began working at Beit Rabban in 2013 as a Gan teacher. Since then, She has taught many years of Gan, one year of first grade, and three years (so far!) of Garinim. She has enjoyed seeing the progression from children's first moments as students in the Gan to becoming true grade school learners. Before Danielle's many years as a teacher, she toured the country in musical theater productions. Her performing arts career prepared her for her big roles playing Garinim's beloved Hebrew puppet, Bentzi, acting out megillahs, social/emotional lessons, and more. Outside of Beit Rabban, she spends time with her amazing family: her husband Josh and her two children, Jonah (Shtillim), and Zoe (Gan Sagol).
