Beit Rabban Day School and Hadar have a long-standing strategic partnership, culminating in the joint hire of the Beit Rabban Director of Jewish Studies/Director of the Hadar Curriculum Initiative in 2014. The partnership focuses on sharpening goals and setting national standards for Jewish education in classical texts. The Standards for Fluency in Jewish Text & Practice is a joint, ongoing project of Hadar and Beit Rabban with Beit Rabban serving as the pilot school for developing and implementing the standards which has been downloaded by over 100 day schools across the country and across the religious spectrum.

Avi Chai Foundation

Beit Rabban Day School’s Affordability Initiative is a special program designed to respond to middle-income affordability challenges and has put this in place with guidance and support from the Avi Chai Foundation. The school also participates in various Avi Chai think tanks and leadership initiatives to access the thought leadership of this leading foundation in the Jewish community.


Beit Rabban Day School is proud to have recently completed the Keshet Leadership Project. The Keshet Leadership Project is a multi-service program that gathers, trains, provides resources for, and supports Jewish institutions to become more inclusive of LGBTQ individuals and families.

The Rabbinics Initiative - The Jewish Day School Standards and Benchmarks Project

Beit Rabban Day School is proud to be one of 15 Jewish day schools invited to partner with the Jewish Day School Standards and Benchmarks Project of the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education of JTS on a pioneering initiative to advance the study of rabbinic literature. Since 2005, the Standards and Benchmarks Project has provided more than 65 day schools affiliated with the Schechter, RAVSAK, Pardes, and Yeshiva University Institute for University-School Partnership networks with high-quality professional development for the teaching and learning of TaNaKH (Hebrew Bible). The goal of the Rabbinics Initiative is to develop a compendium of standards and benchmarks—with well-articulated learning outcomes—for the teaching and learning of rabbinics at Jewish day schools. 

The Jewish New Teachers Project (JNTP)

Beit Rabban Day School has worked with the JNTP to enhance the practice of our faculty. In addition to providing support for new teachers to participate in JNTP’s programs, several members of our senior staff have been trained as JNTP mentors. Beit Rabban also takes advantage of the JNTP’s consultative services to further enhance the skills of the school’s leadership in the areas of teacher supervision and academic achievement.

The Jewish Education Program

Beit Rabban Day School partners with the Jewish Education Project, the successor to the storied Bureau of Jewish Education. In addition to active participation in a variety of programs for day school professionals and volunteers such as the Early Childhood Directors group and the Parent to Parent program, Beit Rabban also works with the Jewish Education project to access funds and programs from the NY State Department of Education.

Davidson School at JTS

Beit Rabban Day School serves as a field site for graduate students at the Davidson School at JTS, providing opportunities for mentorship and field supervision for individuals interested in a career in Jewish day school education.

UJA-Federation of New York

Beit Rabban Day School is an active participant in the UJA-Federation’s work with day schools, including participation in training programs, day school events, and the advocacy work of the agency. Beit Rabban Day School has also been a recipient of funds from the Rose Diller program since its inception.


Beit Rabban works with the resources that Prizmah provides through their pioneering approach to foster educational excellence, financial vitality and community support to day school education. Beit Rabban recieves customized consulting services in the areas of fundraising and governance, professional leadership, recruitment and retention, teaching and learning, school assessment, leadership search and placement, professional development for teachers and administrators, and programs for student through Prizmah's support.
