Chativah Math and Science

What brings you the most joy as a teacher?
It brings me so much joy to see students support each other's learning and help others unprompted. I also love when I can share my love for math and science with students and see them reciprocate that enthusiasm!

What has been your most formative Jewish experience?
I was most affected by participating in events at my campus Hillel at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I enjoyed volunteering, baking and selling challah, attending Shabbat services, and participating in the Jewish Learning Fellowship and its many learning sessions.

What was the best class you took in college?
So hard to choose! I very much enjoyed the course High School Math from an Advanced Perspective. It was great exploring how many math topics in high school are rooted in advanced theories and historical discoveries! Along with this, I loved my course on Euclidean Geometry and the ancient history of the geometry practices we learn and teach in school to this day.
