What were your favorite hobbies as a child?
I always loved spending time in the field of my village in Ethiopia before sunrise with the sheep, cows, horses and donkeys.

Who or what inspired you to be a teacher?
My own kids inspired me to be a teacher.

What has been your most formative Jewish experience?
My most formative Jewish experience was meeting different communities and rabbis through my work in the Be'chol Lashon Speaker's Bureau.

What was your proudest accomplishment as a child?
My proudest accomplishment was surviving the journey that my family undertook to the Land of Israel to be free as Jews, learn the Israeli language and culture, and to feel like part of a new country.
