What do you enjoy doing with your time outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my 11 year old son, painting, taking photographs of New York City on my walks, and going to dinner and concerts with friends.

Tell us something interesting about your family’s Jewish roots.
My father grew up in a Jewish orphanage called the Pride of Judea in West New York in 1934.

Esther, RBG, and Emma Lazarus

What brings you the most joy as a teacher?
I experience the most joy when I get to see the world through a child's point of view.
