What were your favorite classes in college or graduate school?
Art in the Elementary Classroom, Diverse Populations, and American History (I had the best teacher!)

What is your proudest accomplishment?
I am most proud of completing my thesis on "Comprehension Strategies in the Classroom and Their Use with Diverse Learners." I examined the use of multiple comprehension strategies and researched their efficacy in different groups of students considering gender, learning needs, struggling readers, and English Language Learners. I sought to identify the best comprehension practice and determine whether particular learners find more success in one over another.

What do you most hope your students learn from you - other than the curriculum?
I hope they gain an understanding of the greater community, an acceptance and love for all people, the knowledge of how to be respectful, caring, and thoughtful community members, and a love for Judaism.

What brings you the most joy as a teacher?
I love seeing the small moments of accomplishment after a struggle.
