What were your favorite classes in college or graduate school?
Art in the Elementary Classroom, Diverse Populations, and American History (I had the best teacher!).

What is your proudest accomplishment?
Completing my thesis on "Comprehension Strategies in the Classroom and Their Use with Diverse Learners." I examined the use of multiple comprehension strategies and researched their efficacy in different groups of students considering gender, learning needs, struggling readers, and English Language Learners. I sought to identify the best comprehension practice and determine whether particular learners find more success in one over another.

What do you most hope your students learn from you - other than the curriculum?
An understanding of the greater community and an acceptance and love for all people. Learning to be respectful, caring, and thoughtful community members and to love Judaism.

What brings you the most joy as a teacher?
Seeing the small moments of accomplishment after the struggle.
