Beit Rabban Parent WOrkshops - 2011-2012

For many, parenting is both one of the great blessings in life and a fulfillment of one of the highest Jewish values. Unfortunately, children do not come with operation manuals and parents often find themselves in need of thoughtful, effective and Jewish expertise in raising healthy, caring sons and daughters.

As institutions committed to children, parents and families, Beit Rabban Day School and Congregation Shearith Israel have joined forces to sponsor a series of parenting workshops to provide concerned parents with support, information and a framework for sharing. Each workshop will provide specific information and the insights of an expert in the field, with the seminar organized around three lenses: parenting from an emotional/social perspective, parenting from an educational perspective, and parenting from a Jewish perspective. Individuals can attend the entire series or select those programs that meet particular family challenges. All sessions are free of charge.

Next Program: Wednesday, April 18, 7:30 – 9:00 PM
